I had the privilege of being asked to create a series of interstitial animations for the short film showcase Cake on Hulu. Based around the theme of “GOD MODE”, I was sent musical prompts and given an open free reign to interpret the music with animation. These animations work as palette cleansers between each film, so I focused on a bright, colourful story detailing the rise and fall of a pink false idol.
